Senior HR Officer
1.0 INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this procedure is to establish and define the functional role, reporting relationships, authority, responsibility, measurements of performance, and position requirements for the Senior HR Officer position at Khuff General Trading & Contracting Co.
2.0 BASIC FUNCTIONS
Senior HR Officer assists the administration team on the day to day administration processes.
3.0 POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Degree holder in business administration and/or HR management
Experience
- 5+ years of working experience.in HR role(s) in comparable organizations
Skills
- Good understanding of organizational structure and core businesses of the company and industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft tools, organizational and presentation skills
- Good command of English & Arabic language.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, self-motivated, interpersonal relationship, commercial awareness, problem-solving, analytical, initiative, able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
- Proactive, solutions focused, agile and have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent communication & Ability to work with multi-cultural teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, payroll software, and MS Office applications.
- Industry Experience of Oil & Gas will be advantage
- Ability to work with and as a part of multi-cultural teams.
- Knowledge of CRM Systems, Sales/Quotation Creation and Processes.
- Report writing skills & financial acumen.
- Keyboard skills
4.0 REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to Human Resource / Administration Manager
5.0 AUTHORITY
This is defined by Khuff’s organization chart and its delegation of authority.
- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure fulfillment of various enquiries of clients / end users across the company through purchasing quality items at the best price and shortest lead time delivery i.e. ensure that purchased goods and services comply with requirements on quality, delivery etc
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with labor laws, company guidelines and ensure a healthy work environment.
- Manage HR systems, databases, and tools for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
- Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer negotiations.
- Ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires, providing them with the resources and support needed to succeed.
- Oversee employee exits, conducting exit interviews and ensuring proper documentation.
- Attend to Employees’ conflicts and grievance
- Develop & manage the performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and retention.
- Make arrangements for company functions and gatherings Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Vendor Negotiation & Management.
- Contracts / Agencies management.
- Coordinate for compliance matters with GRO Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters.
- Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Issue periodic reports and statistics to management Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
- Any Other Duty assigned by supervisor
- Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
- Meet and greet clients and visitors.

- HOURS OF WORK
Standard working week is 40 hours, 8am to 5pm, Sunday through Thursday; except for the holy month of Ramadhan for which management shall announce working hours. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
