Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Sales – Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Technical Sales professional specialising in industrial electrical products. In this role, he will leverage his technical expertise to drive sales and provide exceptional support to our industrial clients. He will serve as a trusted advisor, offering technical guidance and solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our customers. His deep knowledge of electrical engineering principles and industrial applications will be instrumental in helping our clients make informed decisions and ensuring the successful implementation of our products.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Technical Expertise:

Utilize your in-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles and industrial electrical products to understand and effectively communicate the technical aspects of our offerings to customers.

 

Customer Engagement:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential industrial clients.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for technical inquiries and product-related discussions.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their unique needs and challenges.

 

Product Presentations:

  • Deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and applications of our industrial electrical products.
  • Translate technical information into clear, concise, and persuasive messages for diverse audiences.

 

Solution Design:

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop customized solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to help clients choose the most appropriate products and configurations.

 

Sales Support:

  • Assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and technical documentation for clients.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets.

 

Market Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the industrial electrical sector.
  • Use market insights to identify potential business opportunities and areas for product improvement.

 

Training and Education:

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers to enhance their understanding of our products and their applications.

 

Trouble Shooting:

  • Address and resolve technical issues and challenges faced by customers during the sales and implementation process.

 

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, and sales activities.
  • Generate reports to track sales performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical sales or a relevant role within the industrial electrical products sector.
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, automation, and control.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • KSE certification
  • Valid Driving License
